Mazama's investment team is passionate about growth stock investing and the daily challenge of finding the best quality growth companies for our portfolios. Our team is a group of highly-motivated, enthusiastic professionals with over 150 years of combined investment experience. By managing each strategy as a team, we are able to apply our collective experience consistently and evenly to all client accounts.

A Passion for Research

Our investment philosophy and process require that every member of our team possess a passion for the rigors of research, which regularly leads our analysts and portfolio managers to far-reaching locations in pursuit of value-added information. They regularly meet with management teams, key industry participants, employees, vendors and suppliers and combined spend hundreds of days each year attending industry events and trade shows.

Efficient Collaboration

Our technology platform allows for remote access and collaborative communication from anywhere in the world, enabling our team to access and update our Proprietary Research Database and Price Performance Model in real time, providing a scalable, efficient framework for organizing, tracking and ranking the companies within our investment universe.

Motivation

As an employee owned firm, Mazama strives to offer ownership opportunities to all of its employees. The Investment team along represents over 77% of the employee stake and each member is also a client of the firm with a long-term investment in one or more of our portfolios. As owners and investors in Mazama portfolios, our interests and the interests of our clients are very well aligned.
