Mr. DeMuth specializes in the research and analysis of growth companies within the energy, materials & processing, basic industries and aerospace & defense related sectors for all Mazama strategies. Mr. DeMuth has over 20 years experience as an investment professional. He began his career as a financial analyst with Petro-Lewis followed by Conoco in the mid 1980s. In 1988 he founded D&B Financial, a Registered Investment Advisor specializing in freelance, small cap sell-side research. Mr. DeMuth joined the Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association in 1992 as an analyst and portfolio manager. Immediately prior to joining Mazama, Mr. DeMuth was an SVP and Senior Portfolio Manager with AIM Capital Management, where he co-developed and managed several mutual funds. He earned a MBA with Oil and Gas emphasis from the University of Denver and his Bachelor of Science in Management with a minor in Economics from Colorado State University. He received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1994.
